Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Motion, Formsite, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Motion and Formsite integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Motion and Formsite (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Motion and Formsite

Formsite + Motion + Slack: When a new form is submitted in Formsite, a corresponding project task is created in Motion. The project manager is then notified via Slack.

Formsite + Google Sheets + Motion: When a new form is submitted in Formsite, the submission details are logged in a Google Sheet. A related project task is then automatically created in Motion based on the form data.
