How to connect MySQL and Enrich Layer

Create a New Scenario to Connect MySQL and Enrich Layer

In the workspace, click the โ€œCreate New Scenarioโ€ button.

Add the First Step

Add the first node โ€“ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a MySQL, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, MySQL or Enrich Layer will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find MySQL or Enrich Layer, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Add the MySQL Node

Select the MySQL node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring MySQL, Enrich Layer, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the MySQL and Enrich Layer integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between MySQL and Enrich Layer (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect MySQL and Enrich Layer

MySQL + Enrich Layer + Slack: When a new customer record is added to MySQL, the data is enriched using Enrich Layer to obtain additional information. Then, a welcome message is sent to the customer via Slack.

Enrich Layer + MySQL + HubSpot: When a new lead's information becomes available, it's enriched via Enrich Layer. The enriched data is stored in MySQL, and subsequently updates the corresponding contact details in HubSpot.
