Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Nimble, Docusign, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Nimble and Docusign integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Nimble and Docusign (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Nimble and Docusign
Nimble + Docusign + Slack: When a deal reaches a specific stage in Nimble, a contract is automatically sent via Docusign using a pre-defined template. Upon sending the contract, a notification is posted to a designated Slack channel to inform the sales team.
Docusign + Nimble + Google Sheets: When a Docusign envelope status is updated to 'completed', the automation retrieves contact details from Nimble and uses them to update a specific row in a Google Sheet, logging the contract completion status. The email field in Docusign is used to find the matching contact in Nimble.
