Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring OCR Space, Bitbucket, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the OCR Space and Bitbucket integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between OCR Space and Bitbucket (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect OCR Space and Bitbucket

Bitbucket + OCR Space + Slack: When a new commit is made to a Bitbucket repository, especially those including images, the workflow extracts text from the image files using OCR Space. A summary of the extracted text is then sent to a designated Slack channel for review and discussion.

Bitbucket + OCR Space + Jira: When code-related images are updated in a Bitbucket repository, the workflow extracts the text from the image using OCR Space. It then automatically creates a new Jira ticket containing the extracted text, prompting developers to review the code related to the image.
