Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Okta, CloudConvert, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Okta and CloudConvert integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Okta and CloudConvert (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Okta and CloudConvert
Okta + CloudConvert + Slack: When a user profile is updated in Okta, the automation retrieves the updated profile information. If a profile picture exists, it's converted to a smaller size using CloudConvert. Finally, a Slack message is sent to the user, notifying them of the profile picture update and potential resizing.
CloudConvert + Okta + Google Drive: When a CloudConvert job finishes (e.g., converting a file), this automation retrieves the converted file and uploads it to a specified folder in Google Drive. The file's sharing permissions are then updated to grant access to a specific user retrieved from Okta, based on their email, ensuring secure and accessible archiving.
