Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Okta, Database, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Okta and Database integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Okta and Database (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Okta and Database

Okta + Database + Slack: When a new user is added to Okta, an entry is created in the database. Subsequently, a welcome message is sent to the new user via Slack direct message.

Okta + Database + Google Sheets: Track Okta user authentication events. When a new event occurs in Okta, it is recorded in a database and subsequently synced to Google Sheets for reporting purposes.
