Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Okta, DonationAlerts, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Okta and DonationAlerts integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Okta and DonationAlerts (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Okta and DonationAlerts
DonationAlerts + Okta + Slack: When a new donation alert is received in DonationAlerts, the workflow retrieves the user profile information associated with the donation. If the donation amount exceeds a defined threshold, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel, notifying the security team about the donation to monitor security awareness campaigns.
DonationAlerts + Okta + Discord bot: When a new donation alert is received in DonationAlerts, this flow triggers a check in Okta to verify the user's information. Then, the Discord bot sends a message to a specific Discord channel announcing the new donation.
