After configuring OpenAI Responses, Coda, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the OpenAI Responses and Coda integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between OpenAI Responses and Coda (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect OpenAI Responses and Coda
OpenAI Responses + Coda + Slack: When a new response is received from OpenAI, this flow adds it as a row to a Coda document for record-keeping and then sends a Slack message to notify a team channel about the new feedback.
Coda + OpenAI Responses + Google Sheets: When a row is updated in Coda, the data from that row is sent to OpenAI for analysis. The resulting insights are then added as a new row to a Google Sheet for tracking trends over time.
