Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring OpenAI Vision, Creatomate, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the OpenAI Vision and Creatomate integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between OpenAI Vision and Creatomate (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect OpenAI Vision and Creatomate

Creatomate + OpenAI Vision + Slack: When a new render is created in Creatomate, the system could, hypothetically, analyze the image using OpenAI Vision (although no direct Vision actions are available). Since OpenAI Vision is unavailable, this example mocks the analysis. Finally, it sends the analysis results to a specified Slack channel.

Creatomate + OpenAI Vision + Google Sheets: This use case generates video previews with Creatomate. When a new render is completed, it would ideally analyze screenshots using OpenAI Vision and record data in a spreadsheet, but lacking direct OpenAI vision actions, this flow records new renders in Google Sheets.
