Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Ortto, Code, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Ortto and Code integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Ortto and Code (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Ortto and Code

Ortto + Code + Google Sheets: When a new activity event occurs in Ortto, custom JavaScript code processes and transforms the data, then adds it as a new row to a Google Sheet for reporting and analysis.

Ortto + Code + Slack: When Ortto registers a new activity event, JavaScript code analyzes user behavior for anomalies, and Slack sends an alert to a public channel if an anomaly is detected, notifying the marketing team.
