Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring PagerDuty, Bouncer, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the PagerDuty and Bouncer integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between PagerDuty and Bouncer (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect PagerDuty and Bouncer
PagerDuty + Bouncer + Slack: When a PagerDuty incident is resolved, Bouncer unlocks the affected user's account based on information from PagerDuty. Then, Slack sends a direct message to the user, notifying them that their account has been unlocked.
Bouncer + PagerDuty + Microsoft Teams: When Bouncer detects suspicious login activity by verifying a single email, PagerDuty triggers an incident to alert the security team. Microsoft Teams then creates a channel to facilitate immediate discussion about the incident and its resolution.
