Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring PagerDuty, Circle, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the PagerDuty and Circle integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between PagerDuty and Circle (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect PagerDuty and Circle
PagerDuty + Circle + Slack: When a new incident is created or updated in PagerDuty, a message is posted to a designated Circle community space to increase team visibility. Subsequently, a message is sent to a Slack channel for immediate awareness and action.
Circle + PagerDuty + Google Sheets: When a new member joins a Circle community, check if they need immediate assistance. If so, trigger a PagerDuty incident. When the incident is resolved, log the resolution details, including the member's ID and resolution timestamp, in a Google Sheet for tracking and analysis.
