Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring PagerDuty, Creatomate, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the PagerDuty and Creatomate integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between PagerDuty and Creatomate (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect PagerDuty and Creatomate

PagerDuty + Creatomate + Slack: When a new incident is triggered in PagerDuty, Creatomate renders a video template to visualize the incident. This video is then shared in a dedicated Slack channel to inform the team.

Creatomate + Google Sheets + PagerDuty: If a Creatomate video render fails, the error details are logged in a Google Sheets spreadsheet. This then triggers a PagerDuty incident, ensuring the failure is immediately addressed.
