Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring PagerDuty, Fillout, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the PagerDuty and Fillout integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between PagerDuty and Fillout (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect PagerDuty and Fillout

PagerDuty + Fillout + Slack: When a critical incident is created in PagerDuty, a Fillout form is sent to impacted users to gather more information. The responses are then used to send a notification to a designated Slack channel.

Fillout + PagerDuty + Google Sheets: Capture incident feedback via Fillout. If responses indicate a specific severity level based on defined criteria, trigger a PagerDuty alert. Simultaneously, log all response data in Google Sheets for analysis and record-keeping.
