After configuring PagerDuty, Notion, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the PagerDuty and Notion integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between PagerDuty and Notion (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect PagerDuty and Notion
PagerDuty + Notion + Slack: When a PagerDuty incident is resolved, the automation updates a specified Notion database with the incident's resolution details and then sends a notification to a designated Slack channel to inform the team of the resolution.
Notion + PagerDuty + Jira: When a Notion task related to critical infrastructure is marked as urgent, and this triggers a PagerDuty incident, the automation creates a Jira ticket to track the incident and its resolution.
