Create a New Scenario to Connect Paperform and Microsoft Excel
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Paperform, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Paperform or Microsoft Excel will be your first step. Click on the Paperform node to configure it. You can modify the Paperform URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.

Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Paperform node, select Microsoft Excel from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Microsoft Excel.

Authenticate Microsoft Excel
Now, click the Microsoft Excel node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Microsoft Excel settings. Authentication allows you to use Microsoft Excel through Latenode.

Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Paperform, Microsoft Excel, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Paperform and Microsoft Excel integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Paperform and Microsoft Excel (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Paperform + Microsoft Excel + Slack: When a new form submission is received in Paperform, the data is added as a new row in a Microsoft Excel table. Subsequently, a notification is sent to a Slack channel to alert the team about the new submission.
Microsoft Excel + Paperform + Google Sheets: When a new row is added to a specific table in Microsoft Excel, the data is used to fetch related form submissions from Paperform. The aggregated and analyzed data is then added as a new row in Google Sheets.
