Create a New Scenario to Connect Pinecone and Google Cloud Storage
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Pinecone, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Pinecone or Google Cloud Storage will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Pinecone or Google Cloud Storage, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.
Add the Pinecone Node
Select the Pinecone node from the app selection panel on the right.
Pinecone
Configure the Pinecone
Click on the Pinecone node to configure it. You can modify the Pinecone URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the Google Cloud Storage Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Pinecone node, select Google Cloud Storage from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Google Cloud Storage.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Pinecone, Google Cloud Storage, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Pinecone and Google Cloud Storage integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Pinecone and Google Cloud Storage (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
OpenAI + Pinecone + Google Cloud Storage: This flow takes text data (not directly available as an action, assuming it's within the OpenAI context) to generate embeddings using OpenAI. These embeddings are then stored in Pinecone. The original text data associated with the embeddings is saved in Google Cloud Storage, allowing for later retrieval and analysis.
Google Cloud Storage + Pinecone + Webhook: When a new file is uploaded to Google Cloud Storage, the file's content is used to create vector embeddings in Pinecone. Once the embeddings are created, a notification is sent via Webhook to an external service or application.
