Create a New Scenario to Connect Pinecone and Google Groups
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Pinecone, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Pinecone or Google Groups will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Pinecone or Google Groups, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Click on the Pinecone node to configure it. You can modify the Pinecone URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.

Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Pinecone node, select Google Groups from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Google Groups.

Authenticate Google Groups
Now, click the Google Groups node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Google Groups settings. Authentication allows you to use Google Groups through Latenode.

Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Pinecone, Google Groups, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Pinecone and Google Groups integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Pinecone and Google Groups (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Google Groups + Pinecone + Google Sheets: When a new message is posted in a Google Group, the text is sent to Pinecone to search for similar answered questions. If no similar answers are found, the unanswered question is logged in Google Sheets.
Google Groups + Pinecone + Discord bot: When a new member joins a Google Group, their information is sent to Pinecone to check their interests based on their profile and previous group activity. Based on this, a relevant role is assigned in Discord, and a personalized welcome message is sent.
