Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Pinecone, Intercom, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Depending on your setup, data should flow between Pinecone and Intercom (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Pinecone and Intercom

Intercom + Pinecone + Airtable: When a new conversation is created in Intercom, a summary is generated (outside the scope of available actions), and the summary is then upserted into Pinecone. Finally, key details of the conversation are logged in Airtable for analysis.

Intercom + Pinecone + Zendesk: When an Intercom conversation is closed, the conversation data is indexed in Pinecone. Then, if Pinecone detects similar, recurring issues via a search, a Zendesk ticket is automatically created to address the underlying problem.
