Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Pinecone, Mailgun, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Pinecone and Mailgun integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Pinecone and Mailgun (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Pinecone and Mailgun
Mailgun + Pinecone + Google Sheets: When a new email is received via Mailgun, its content is used to search Pinecone for related support documents. The email content and the IDs of the related documents are then logged in a Google Sheet for tracking feedback and identifying improvement areas.
Mailgun + Pinecone + Slack: When a new email arrives in Mailgun, the system checks if the email mentions specific keywords related to feature requests. If such keywords are found, Pinecone is queried to provide context from a knowledge base. Finally, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel containing the relevant email excerpt and the context retrieved from Pinecone.
