Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Podio, Bitly, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Podio and Bitly integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Podio and Bitly (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Podio and Bitly

Podio + Bitly + Google Sheets: When a new item is created in Podio, a Bitly link is shortened for the item. The Podio item details and the shortened Bitly link are then added as a new row in a Google Sheet for tracking and analytics.

Bitly + Podio + Slack: When a Bitly link is clicked, retrieve the associated Podio item, and then send a message to a specified Slack channel notifying of the click and including details of the associated Podio item.
