Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Podio, Google slides, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Podio and Google slides integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Podio and Google slides (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Podio and Google slides

Podio + Google Slides + Slack: When a new item is created in Podio, it triggers the creation of a new slide in a specified Google Slides presentation. A Slack message is then sent to a designated channel, notifying the team about the new slide.

Podio + Google Sheets + Google Slides: When an item is updated in Podio, its data is written to a Google Sheet, and a chart in Google Slides is refreshed to reflect the updated Podio data. This allows for real-time visualization of Podio data in presentations.
