Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring PostgreSQL, Mautic, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the PostgreSQL and Mautic integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between PostgreSQL and Mautic (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect PostgreSQL and Mautic

PostgreSQL + Mautic + Slack: When a new or updated row is added to PostgreSQL, a new contact is created in Mautic. Subsequently, a message is sent to a Slack channel notifying the sales team of the new lead.

Mautic + PostgreSQL + Google Sheets: When a contact is updated in Mautic, the contact's data is updated in PostgreSQL. This updated data is then added as a new row to a Google Sheet for reporting purposes.
