Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Postmark, Mailhook, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Postmark and Mailhook integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Postmark and Mailhook (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Postmark and Mailhook

Mailhook + Postmark + Slack: When a new email is received by Mailhook, this flow checks Postmark for email bounce notifications. If a bounce is detected for the recipient's email address, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to alert the team for investigation.

Mailhook + Postmark + Google Sheets: Upon receiving a new email via Mailhook, the flow checks the email's status in Postmark. The email data from Mailhook, combined with its delivery status from Postmark, is then saved into a Google Sheet for tracking and analysis.
