How to connect Quickbase and Gender API
Create a New Scenario to Connect Quickbase and Gender API
In the workspace, click the βCreate New Scenarioβ button.

Add the First Step
Add the first node β a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Quickbase, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Quickbase or Gender API will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Quickbase or Gender API, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Add the Quickbase Node
Select the Quickbase node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Quickbase, Gender API, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Quickbase and Gender API integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Quickbase and Gender API (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Quickbase and Gender API
Quickbase + Gender API + Slack: When a new lead is added to Quickbase, the Gender API determines the lead's gender based on their name. Slack then sends a personalized direct message to the lead, using the identified gender to improve engagement.
Quickbase + Gender API + Google Sheets: When a contact record is updated in Quickbase, the Gender API determines the contact's gender based on their name. The Quickbase record is then updated and the updated contact information, including the gender, is logged in a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
