Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Quickbase, Ortto, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Quickbase and Ortto integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Quickbase and Ortto (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Quickbase and Ortto
Quickbase + Ortto + Slack: When a new record is created in Quickbase, a new or updated person is added to Ortto, triggering a personalized email campaign. A notification is then sent to a Slack channel to alert the team of the new record and campaign launch.
Ortto + Quickbase + Google Sheets: When a new activity event occurs in Ortto (e.g., campaign interaction), a record is created or updated in Quickbase to track the event. Subsequently, a row is added to Google Sheets to summarize the Ortto campaign data for reporting purposes.
