Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Recruitee, Discourse, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Recruitee and Discourse integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Recruitee and Discourse (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Recruitee and Discourse

Recruitee + Discourse + Slack: When a new candidate is added in Recruitee, a topic is created in Discourse to welcome the new hire. Simultaneously, a Slack message is sent to the HR channel to notify them of the new candidate.

Discourse + Recruitee + Google Sheets: When a new topic is created in Discourse, the topic title and creator are added to a Google Sheet. If the creator's email matches a candidate in Recruitee, the corresponding candidate's stage is also logged in the Google Sheet.
