Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Recut, GoCanvas, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Recut and GoCanvas integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Recut and GoCanvas (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Recut and GoCanvas

GoCanvas + Recut + Google Drive: When a new submission is made in GoCanvas, Recut processes the associated video file (if available) to highlight relevant sections. The processed video is then uploaded to a dedicated folder in Google Drive for easy access and storage.

GoCanvas + Recut + Slack: When a new GoCanvas submission is received, the system checks for failures. If the inspection fails, Recut is used to process the relevant video and create a shortened link. This link is then sent to a designated Slack channel, allowing for quick review of the problem areas.
