Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Recut, Linear, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Recut and Linear integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Recut and Linear (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Recut and Linear

Recut + Linear + Slack: When a new video edit is generated in Recut, a Linear issue is created to track its review and a Slack message is sent to the video team to notify them of the new edit.

Linear + Google Drive + Recut: When a Linear issue is closed, video content is found in Google Drive, and a link to this content is sent to Recut. The link might be useful for Recut to then create a summary video.
