Create a New Scenario to Connect Render and AI: Perplexity
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Render, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Render or AI: Perplexity will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Render or AI: Perplexity, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Now, click the AI: Perplexity node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your AI: Perplexity settings. Authentication allows you to use AI: Perplexity through Latenode.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Render, AI: Perplexity, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Render and AI: Perplexity integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Render and AI: Perplexity (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Render + Slack: When a Render deployment fails, a message is sent to a specified Slack channel to notify the team. The error logs are not summarized by Perplexity in this use case, as there is no direct integration with Perplexity.
Google Sheets + Render: New rows added to a Google Sheet trigger a Render deployment. Perplexity research is not directly integrated into the workflow due to lack of Perplexity triggers/actions; the sheet must be manually populated with Perplexity-derived insights.
