Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Render, GoCanvas, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Render and GoCanvas integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Render and GoCanvas (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Render and GoCanvas

GoCanvas + Render + Slack: When a new inspection form is submitted in GoCanvas, it triggers a server redeployment on Render. Slack then sends a message to a specified channel to notify the team about the redeployment.

GoCanvas + Render + Google Sheets: When a new form is submitted in GoCanvas, the data is used to create a new service on Render. The details of the new service and submission data are then added as a new row in a Google Sheet to track the progress.
