Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring RingCentral, PagerDuty, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the RingCentral and PagerDuty integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between RingCentral and PagerDuty (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect RingCentral and PagerDuty

RingCentral + PagerDuty + Slack: When a new missed call occurs in RingCentral, especially during off-hours, a high-priority incident is triggered in PagerDuty. This alerts the on-call staff and posts the missed call details, including caller ID, to a dedicated Slack channel for quick response.

PagerDuty + RingCentral + Zendesk: When a PagerDuty incident is acknowledged, a Zendesk ticket is automatically created to track the issue resolution. Simultaneously, a RingCentral call is initiated to the customer to provide immediate support and keep them informed about the progress.
