Create a New Scenario to Connect Salesforce and Brilliant Directories
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Salesforce, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Salesforce or Brilliant Directories will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Salesforce or Brilliant Directories, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Click on the Salesforce node to configure it. You can modify the Salesforce URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the Brilliant Directories Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Salesforce node, select Brilliant Directories from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Brilliant Directories.

Authenticate Brilliant Directories
Now, click the Brilliant Directories node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Brilliant Directories settings. Authentication allows you to use Brilliant Directories through Latenode.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Salesforce, Brilliant Directories, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Salesforce and Brilliant Directories integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Salesforce and Brilliant Directories (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Salesforce + Brilliant Directories + Slack: When a new lead is created in Salesforce, a corresponding user profile is created in Brilliant Directories. A notification is then sent to a designated Slack channel to inform the sales team of the new user.
Brilliant Directories + Salesforce + Mailchimp: When a new user signs up in Brilliant Directories, a new contact is created in Salesforce. This new contact is then subscribed to a welcome email series in Mailchimp via adding the subscriber to a specific tag.
