Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Salesforce, LiveChat, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Salesforce and LiveChat integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Salesforce and LiveChat (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Salesforce and LiveChat

LiveChat + Salesforce + Slack: When a new chat comes in via LiveChat, the automation creates a new lead in Salesforce and then sends a message to a designated Slack channel to notify the sales team of the new engagement.

LiveChat + Salesforce + Jira: When a LiveChat conversation is tagged with 'urgent', a new task is created in Salesforce, and a bug report is automatically generated in Jira to address the critical issue reported during the chat.
