Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Salesforce, Mailhook, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Salesforce and Mailhook integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Salesforce and Mailhook (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Salesforce and Mailhook

Salesforce + Mailhook + Slack: When a new lead is created in Salesforce, Mailhook is triggered to prepare a customized notification. This notification is then sent to a designated Slack channel, keeping the team informed about new potential customers.

Mailhook + Salesforce + Google Sheets: When an email is received via Mailhook, the data is extracted and used to create a new lead in Salesforce. Simultaneously, the email details and the new lead's information are logged in a Google Sheet for tracking and analysis.
