Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Salesforce and Microsoft Outlook integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Salesforce and Microsoft Outlook (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Salesforce + Slack + Microsoft Outlook: When a new opportunity is created in Salesforce, a notification is sent to a designated Slack channel. Subsequently, a welcome email is sent to the lead's email address via Microsoft Outlook.
Microsoft Outlook + Salesforce + Google Sheets: Upon receiving a new email in Outlook, the flow checks if the sender's email exists as a Lead in Salesforce. If it does, the email details are logged against that Lead in Salesforce and simultaneously recorded in a Google Sheet for reporting purposes.
