Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Salesforce, Motion, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Salesforce and Motion integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Salesforce and Motion (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Salesforce and Motion

Salesforce + Motion + Slack: When a new record is created in Salesforce, specifically a high-value deal, a project is automatically created in Motion. A message is then sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the team about the new project.

Motion + Salesforce + Google Calendar: When a new task is created in Motion, the automation updates the corresponding lead's record in Salesforce. It then schedules the task deadline in Google Calendar to ensure timely completion.
