Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Salesmate, PostgreSQL, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Salesmate and PostgreSQL integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Salesmate and PostgreSQL (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Salesmate and PostgreSQL

Salesmate + PostgreSQL + Google Sheets: This automation extracts new contact information from Salesmate, inserts it into a PostgreSQL database, and then adds the data as a new row in Google Sheets for reporting and analysis.

PostgreSQL + Salesmate + Slack: When a new lead is added or updated in a PostgreSQL database, this flow creates a contact in Salesmate and sends a notification to a designated Slack channel informing the sales team about the new lead.
