Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Sendgrid, Bitbucket, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Sendgrid and Bitbucket integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Sendgrid and Bitbucket (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Sendgrid and Bitbucket

Sendgrid + Bitbucket + Slack: When a global suppression (bounce, spam report, etc.) is added in Sendgrid, find the corresponding Bitbucket commit (assuming the suppression reason is related to a code commit notification) and post a message to a Slack channel to alert the team.

Bitbucket + Jira + Sendgrid: When a new commit is made in Bitbucket, create a corresponding issue in Jira and then send an email notification via Sendgrid to stakeholders, summarizing the commit details and linking to the Jira issue for tracking.
