Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Sendgrid, Mailgun, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Sendgrid and Mailgun integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Sendgrid and Mailgun (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Sendgrid and Mailgun

Mailgun + Sendgrid + Slack: This automation monitors email delivery failures from both Mailgun and Sendgrid. When a new delivery failure is detected by either platform, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel, allowing the team to investigate the issue promptly.

Mailgun + Sendgrid + Google Sheets: This automation tracks email sending performance from Mailgun and Sendgrid. Each time a new delivery event (success or failure) occurs in either platform, the event data is added as a new row in a Google Sheet, allowing for easy comparison and analysis of the platforms' performance.
