Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Sendgrid, Mixpanel, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Sendgrid and Mixpanel integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Sendgrid and Mixpanel (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Sendgrid and Mixpanel

Sendgrid + Mixpanel + Slack: When a user interacts with a Sendgrid email (e.g., opens or clicks), Mixpanel tracks this event. A message is then sent to a designated Slack channel notifying the marketing team of this engagement.

Mixpanel + Sendgrid + Airtable: When a user event is tracked in Mixpanel, the event data and associated Sendgrid email performance metrics (using Sendgrid API to get email data) are stored in an Airtable base for reporting and analysis.
