Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Sendgrid, Render, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Sendgrid and Render integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Sendgrid and Render (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Sendgrid + Render + Slack: When a new email arrives in Sendgrid indicating a Render deployment failure, the flow parses the email for relevant deployment details and sends a message to a designated Slack channel.
Render + Sendgrid + Slack: This automation monitors Render deployments. Since UptimeRobot is unavailable, after a Render deploy completes, the automation sends a confirmation email via Sendgrid, then sends a Slack message upon completion. There is no failure detection involved.
