Depending on your setup, data should flow between Shopify and Motion (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Shopify and Motion

Shopify + Motion + Slack: When a new order is placed on Shopify, especially if it's marked as high-priority (requires custom logic to determine priority based on order details), create a task in Motion to ensure timely fulfillment. Then, notify the fulfillment team in a dedicated Slack channel to expedite the process.

Motion + Shopify + Google Sheets: When a task related to Shopify store improvements is marked as complete in Motion, log the task details (e.g., task name, duration) in a Google Sheet. This enables tracking time spent on specific improvements and generating performance reports for the Shopify store.
