Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Sinch, Render, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Sinch and Render integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Sinch and Render (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Sinch and Render

Sinch + Render + Slack: Upon receiving a new SMS via Sinch, this automation checks the status of the latest Render deployment and sends a message to a Slack channel indicating whether the deployment succeeded or failed.

Render + Sinch + PagerDuty: When a new or updated incident is triggered in PagerDuty, indicating a Render app crash or other issue, an SMS is sent via Sinch to the on-call engineer to notify them of the incident.
