Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack bot, Basecamp, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack bot and Basecamp integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack bot and Basecamp (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack bot and Basecamp

Slack bot + Basecamp + Google Calendar: When a user sends a specific message to the Slack bot, it adds a new event to Basecamp and creates a corresponding event in Google Calendar to schedule a meeting.

Basecamp + Zoom + Slack bot: When a new project is created in Basecamp, a Zoom meeting is automatically created. The Slack bot then sends a message to a designated channel to notify the team about the new project and the scheduled Zoom meeting.
