After configuring Slack bot, PDF.co, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack bot and PDF.co integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack bot and PDF.co (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Slack bot + PDF.co + Google Drive: When a user sends a message to the Slack bot requesting a PDF, the bot uses PDF.co to fetch or convert a PDF document. It then uploads the PDF to Google Drive and sends the user a link to the file in Drive.
PDF.co + Slack bot + Airtable: When a new PDF invoice is processed, PDF.co extracts the data using its AI Invoice Parser. A summary of the extracted data is sent to a designated Slack channel, and the detailed invoice information is logged as a new record in Airtable for accounting purposes.
