Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Circle, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Circle integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Circle (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Circle

Slack + Circle + Google Calendar: When a new message is posted in a Slack channel, parse the message for keywords indicating a meeting should be scheduled. If detected, create a corresponding event in Circle and add a reminder to Google Calendar.

Slack + Circle + Zoom: When a new message in a Slack channel indicates a meeting is needed, a Zoom meeting is created. The Zoom meeting link is then posted to the Circle discussion where the meeting was proposed.
