Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, ClickUp, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and ClickUp integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and ClickUp (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and ClickUp

ClickUp + Google Calendar + Slack: When a new task is created in ClickUp, an event is created in Google Calendar with the task's due date. A Slack message is then sent to remind the user of the upcoming task.

ClickUp + Google Sheets + Slack: When a ClickUp task is updated, the details are recorded in a Google Sheet. A Slack message then notifies the team about the completed task and provides a link to the Google Sheet for tracking.
