Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Docparser, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Docparser integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Docparser (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Docparser

Slack + Docparser + Google Sheets: When a new file is added to a Slack channel, Docparser extracts the data from the document (assuming it's an invoice). This extracted data is then added as a new row in a Google Sheet for accounting purposes.

Docparser + Jira + Slack: When Docparser extracts data from a contract, Jira creates a new issue with relevant details. Then, Slack notifies a specified channel about the new Jira issue.
