Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, DonationAlerts, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and DonationAlerts integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and DonationAlerts (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and DonationAlerts

DonationAlerts + Google Sheets + Slack: When a new donation alert is received from DonationAlerts, the donation information is added as a new row in a Google Sheet. A message is then sent to a specified Slack channel, summarizing the donation details.

DonationAlerts + Slack + Discord bot: When a new donation alert is received from DonationAlerts, check if the donation goal is reached. If the donation goal is reached, the Discord bot will post a celebratory message to a dedicated Slack channel via a webhook.
